Picture A: 1) The center of interest in the picture is the meat on the butchering table. The photographer placed it in the frame in the focus, that way that was what the eye was drawn to. There aren’t any wasted material in the picture, or useless additions to it the photograph. The photographer used the whole setting around them to create a live like picture.
2) The background of the photo adds a lot more character to the photograph itself. There are multiple men working, and a few others reading the daily newspaper. Because this is included in the picture, it adds life and their everyday type of life style to the picture.
3) The photograph has focus on everything. There is no blurred lines or circles, there is a focus on everything going on in that kitchen. There is a photo editing addition which is called Sepia.
4) What I like about the shot is the idea of the men working like normal and having someone snap a moment of it. I think it is a statement shot because it shows these men working at their job. If I took this shot, I would try different types of editing, maybe black and white.
Picture B: 1) The center of the photograph is the building that is shown in the picture. The photographer placed it in the frame so that the building, the front of the building, and the sky would all be focus points together. The photographer placed the focal point of the building in the bottom of the photo and going upwards, so that the photograph would stay slanted in a way and you could see the sky.
2) The background of the photo is not distracting at all, it just adds more texture because of the different sun rays and orange colors.
3) The photo is dark on the bottom part because it is take from the ground and only going up towards the sunlight. The ceiling of the building is dark which adds to the dark and light theme that the photographer might have been going for.
4) What I like about the selected picture is that is taken from standing on the ground and angled upwards. This photograph is a emotional shot.
Picture C: 1) The center of interest in this particular photograph is the baseball player hitting the ball with his bat at the plate. The photographer placed it in the middle of the frame so that they would be the center of attention. The photographer included the people in the stands to add the characters of all of the people and add to the game picture.
2) The background adds to the picture because it has multiple people in it, and they all are doing different things and it adds to the photo by adding diverse feeling of the game.
3) The subject of the photo is in focus, and it can be seen clearly that that is the center of attention.
4) What I like about the photograph is that it is a sport photo and it is an action shot. I like that the player is obviously into the game and trying really hard. This is a emotional shot because it is a sports photo and there is passion in the photo. What would I have done differently if I had taken the photo, I would have heightened the colors, and or tried black and white to make it more intense.
